SHINVA Powers Guyana's Diamond Regional Hospital with Dual Expertise
On June 8, the Diamond Regional Hospital—a landmark project in China-Guyana medical cooperation—was officially inaugurated by Guyanese President Irfaan Ali and Chinese Ambassador to Guyana Guo Haiyan. This modern medical facility, with more than 6,000 square meters of space and 75 inpatient beds, is the first completed hospital among six regional hospitals planned under the cooperation initiative.
Shinva Medical played a critical role in this milestone by delivering a
dual solution encompassing clean operating room systems
and comprehensive
infection control. Together, these two pillars form the hospital’s
core support in safeguarding patient health.
Operating rooms demand the highest standards in environmental cleanliness
and equipment reliability. Shinva Medical equipped the Diamond Regional
Hospital’s surgical suites with core cleanroom infrastructure, including the
high-end Stable-H7000
Electric Operating Table, ensuring surgical precision and
safety.
In parallel, Shinva provided professional infection control
systems and products, establishing a comprehensive biosafety
barrier for the hospital. These solutions not only protect patient safety and
elevate healthcare quality but also create a safer working environment for
medical staff.
The value of advanced equipment is amplified by professional service. To ensure the seamless installation and efficient operation of Shinva’s cleanroom and infection control systems at the Diamond Regional Hospital, Shinva engineers Li Wei and Liu Xiaochen traveled to Guyana. They overcame numerous challenges on-site, meticulously guiding the precise installation and commissioning of the equipment to meet all standards.
In addition, they delivered hands-on, systematic training to local healthcare personnel, covering the operation and maintenance of the systems, thereby empowering the hospital staff with long-term knowledge and practical skills.
