China and Brazil Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Precision Oncology Cooperation

From May 10 to 14, 2025, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of the Federative Republic of Brazil paid a state visit to China. On May 12, an important cooperation focusing on precision oncology treatment and the upgrading of public health service systems took place in Beijing.

Representatives of relevant enterprises signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with the Brazilian side on the application of innovative technologies in the field of radiation therapy. Reportedly, this is the "Medical Linear Accelerator" developed and manufactured by Shandong Shinva Medical Instrument Co., Ltd., a star product in China's radiation therapy field, known for its advanced technology in precision oncology treatment. President Lula also posted a group photo of the event on his overseas social media account with 13 million followers. By the time of the news report, the post had received over 26,000 likes, demonstrating the high level of attention the cooperation has garnered.
